O Lord in my despair
Be not far from me and
Do not leave me by your side
Though my heart cries in anguish
Yet I will set my eyes upon thee
Though my friends despise me
I know that you'll never leave me
I cast my burden upon you
For you are my sustainer
Take my case
I find shelter in your presense
Though my enemies attack
Thou shall be my protector
Guide me and lead me
Show me the right way
Light my path and guide my way
Instill your love within me
