I found myself behind these walls
These walls abandoned by all
Yet I remained, and I stood still
Looking through my eyes could see
Spoken words I utter to say
Perhaps, but not today
thoughts came trembling like thunder
image inside my mind
The man inside me, the man shall be
The man for them to see
The pain remains, unspoken words
The pain retains, these broken words
It hides the pain, too long he bore
Inside what he remains
I carried
I loved
I suffered
I shared
They took
I stayed
They took
I stayed
But who can hear a broken heart
When love ones lost, she finds to keep
But when love is lost, his heart wont keep
I took his place, and looked at him
Broken heart and blood and tears
I could not undo what they did to him
I held him up to help him see
The man before and now he sees
The looking mirror. I is he.
