There was a silence that never had a name.
There lived a moment a man could never be the same.
When the moon does not shine
When the sun waits to rise
Each hour, someone in the dark
Finds peace within his heart
We like to tell a story of a good person,
and we leave out which we believe should not be seen.
But the truth still hides in the dark.
So let me tell you piece by piece,
what other people could not erase.
A history within his path,
he never want.
You've asked me once,
I answered twice.
You've asked me more,
I did not deny.
I am he who found him here,
in dept of sorrow just like tonight.
He cared for love,
he cared for peace,
he carried scars for me to heal.
Tonight the words, starts to bleed,
a simple thought in darkness mid.
The light soon shines,
it hold no truth,
behind the mirror
where I stood still.
Silence in the dark,
louder than any voice
Silence in the dark,
matters in every choice
The eyes shall see,
the hidden voice
The ears shall hear,
each and every choice
Each step moves forward
to one he did not deny
Come close,
come closer
to echo my voice
You can not hear silence's choice
Your mind clouds you no longer
and I rejoice
Silence in your mind seems so loud
it echo's my voice
Dark begins to flood,
your heart by choice
Your eyes sees no longer
the man he sees
The heart remains
The mind became
Not of pain,
and not of sorrow
Not of tears,
not broken it follows
Not of lost,
nor you find what seems light had borrowed
Not to gain,
not to tame,
nor win nor hide
just the moment,
that darkness
is brighter than light
Let me bring you
to the eye of a memory—
It was the time,
and the moment like this.
Four AM...
Mission wasn't accomplished.
He had but one.
But a choice has none.
He holds he riffle close,
breathing the dusky air.
Hot and moist the morning breeze,
through desert moon,
the sun will rise.
He aims,
and he waited.
157 yards
on top of a desert hill.
A path was open,
that hid what remained.
His mission was,
to eliminate that name.
One order.
One shot.
One order, no turning back.
Shoot anyone
that comes out that path.
Shoot no matter what
no matter who you see.
A man?
a soldier?
A woman?
...
but no...
no...
not a...
he sees...
she held still...
a bright red light...
she carries...
in his ears he hears...
fire
besides him
his spotter.
He looks at him,
he said
shoot
engage
he hesitate...
she's but a....
no...
he closes his eyes....
hopes to miss....
his heart pounds....
breath slows...
each seconds slows....
the trigger...
and...
click
is all he heard.
Not sound of a hammer smashing copper
or the noises of panic
nor the spotter besides him saying
go, go...
return fire.
he stops..
Everything turns blur...
he drops the riffle...
he took his side arm..
explosion,
a whisper in the air,
but louder than thunder.
His eyes closes...
his mind clouded.
Then darkness...
And he forgets,
but I remember.
