Shadow of Memories
When a part of me is no longer with me.
For that part of me is a part of you.
O how my heart longs for you
And my desire is to be with you
For so long I've been so lonely
Searching for a friend
To be with until the end
And I saw you with your smile
shining so brightly
The night passes by
looking out the window
with thoughts wondering why
I can't catch my own shadow
She is like a flower
A rose from a garden
A shadow I couldn't follow
But memories will always be there
No matter where I go
