RomNote Poetry

Meant to Be

I still ponder of your love towards me

In my heart wondering if we are meant to be

Though years may come

I will remember our youth

When one night all that I have only thought of is you

When that day I held you in my arms

How I’ve always cherish your hugs

And one look in your eyes, seize my fears away

Do you still remember when we first met?

That funny feeling both of us felt

It’s was so hard to believe you’re here beside me

Nothing else seemed to matter to me besides you

We spent that night talking to each other

And I knew in my heart I’ve never felt that way before

As we lay down together looking at the sky

I knew that moment would last forever

Even it is only for a moment that we’ve spent together

Many days had already past

But it only seems like yesterday

You were in my heart

And I know until now you will always be

For if love should be

It was meant for you and me
