Hope: Poetry for Jesus Christ

Will I still find mercy today

During the day of my struggle?

I was brought to this world this way (a sinful way)

And I struggle to walk Your way (a righteous way)

When will it end?

When will my suffering ends?

Again I wait for another day

For a new day to bring me hope

To think that You'll forget about the past

And my days becomes new in You

You are the hope that leads me

Which brings me to my knees

Do not cut off my days O Lord

That I may repent from sins

Though my struggles are far from end

I will find a way to worship You

And even in the darkest hour

I will seek for You

You are the healer of the wounded heart

And protector of my faith

My flesh and spirit may fail

But You are the victor of my soul

And the portion of my life forever

Poetry for Jesus Christ

"Dear Jesus, is there grace enough these days to forgive someone like me?"

This is my prayer tonight O Lord, please answer my prayers and forgive me. Amen.
