RomNote Poetry

Another

I wonder tonight if she remembers me

I know for sure what we were meant to be

Now that I’ve realized

How much it had meant to her

For us when we were together

Those cheerful memories

When I held in my arms

Memories I’ve always cherished

And remembered

Another she’s just another

Like many that came before her

Memories of one another

Now I loved her

And how she loved me

I loved her

As I loved her before

I kissed her

As I have kissed her before

And again

As many times before

I held her

And she held my arms

I held her closer

As I held her before

Her kind enters my heart

And leaves

As she comes and go

How I miss her many faces before

But for now I sit and wait

For her return as she did before
